NO CAR / CUP-LOVER

In 2012 a veritable DARK living environment will be created. An initial design has already been realised and is being proudly presented by BMW. NO CAR was created in collaboration with architect-designer Anthony Duffeleer, known for NO FRUIT, NO COPY, ICE, HYPE and TSJOEPIE, and it is the first piece from the DARK FURNITURE collection. NO CAR and CUP-LOVER were developed as a state-of-the-art project for the BMW dealership in Wijnegem. The design is a nod to the Hofmeister-kink from BMW. Wilhelm Hofmeister was head of the BMW design department in the 1950s and 60s.
